LOTE- Languages Other Than English

Mandarin and Spanish are offered before and after school as additional programs.

Band

The school has a junior and senior band who play both at school and outside venues. The age range of children is usually from Year 2 upwards. These students enjoy playing a variety of instruments. Children can either buy their own instruments or hire them. They must attend a one hour practice session outside school hours as well as attend tutorial sessions when required and some weekend performances.

Choir

In addition to a music program, students all students  participate in weekly singing. Senior students may join the school auditioned choir.  The school choir performs at various out of school venues throughout the year.

Dance

All students are taught dance as a weekly lesson. The school also has a Dance Ensemble group which performs both at school, as well special performances.

Participation in community, cultural and curriculum events occurs throughout the year. Both parents and their children can join in these events. Some of these events include:

·          Swimming Carnival

·          Athletics Carnival

·          NAIDOC Week

·          School Camp for Years 5-6

·          DET Learn To Swim classes

·          Book week

·          Education Week

·          Kindergarten Transition  

Presentation Day in Term 4 for all students.
